Terms and Conditions
Terms for accessing Crumb Cake Kitchen articles, recipes, images, contact forms and links; including content reuse and limitations.
Introduction and scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to use of the public website Crumb Cake Kitchen at crumbcakekitchen.com. The site provides free access to home-baking articles, recipe collections, general kitchen information, and contact forms. By visiting, you may read and navigate content for lawful personal purposes, subject to any rights that applicable law gives you.
The site is a static publishing website. It does not currently offer reader accounts, paid subscriptions, online checkout, product shipping, or a place for users to publicly upload comments. Provisions that would be appropriate for an online store or member community are therefore not presented as existing services.
Permitted use of the site
You may use recipes for personal cooking, learning, and ordinary noncommercial sharing, subject to copyright and other applicable laws. You may link to public pages using their permanent URLs and describe your own baking experiences. If you share a link, please avoid implying that Crumb Cake Kitchen has endorsed your project or tested your adaptation.
Site navigation, search and filtering are provided for convenience. Access to an individual page can be interrupted by hosting or internet failures, and features may be changed or removed as the site develops. Please do not rely on the availability of a specific webpage as the only copy of information needed for a time-sensitive activity.
Intellectual property and recipe content
The website’s original text, layout, branding, and other protected materials are provided for reading and reference. Copyright and other rights, where applicable, remain with their lawful holders. The fact that a cooking method appears on a website does not imply that ordinary recipe ideas or factual ingredient lists receive rights beyond those recognized by law.
You may not copy and republish entire articles, reproduce the visual site, or redistribute the supplied images as a competing content library without the appropriate permission. If you wish to quote or reuse a portion of a protected work, consider relevant licenses and lawful exceptions. Linking to a recipe is generally preferable to reposting its complete page.
Photographs and third-party rights
Recipe photographs are supplied specifically for their matching articles and cards. Separate decorative homepage photographs are sourced from Pexels under the applicable photo license. Those image licenses have their own conditions, which may differ from copyright rules governing editorial text.
A user should not assume that all photographs can be freely resold, presented as endorsements, or used to identify a pictured person as the website author. Brand logos, recognizable individuals, and other rights can exist independently of the photographer’s license. Respect all applicable rights before reusing media outside this website.
Conduct that is not permitted
Do not intentionally disrupt the site, submit abusive or unlawful material, attempt to access nonpublic systems, scrape the site in a way that degrades availability, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or misrepresent communications as official Crumb Cake Kitchen messages.
Do not use a contact form for spam, threats, unlawful personal information, advertising unrelated to baking inquiries, or attempts to compromise a recipient’s device. Ordinary good-faith criticism, discussion of a recipe, and requests to correct an apparent error are welcome.
Information sent through forms
If you choose to contact the website, provide information that you are entitled to share and that is reasonably related to your message. You are responsible for the accuracy of any address you provide. Contact submissions are handled through the external FormSubmit service after the site owner has completed its necessary activation.
Sending a form does not create a paid account, guarantee a reply, or establish a professional-client relationship. Baking-update requests are forwarded to the administrator; the current implementation does not automatically enroll you in a managed email marketing list. Please do not transmit passwords, payment details, or sensitive documents.
Editorial corrections and recipe changes
We may change ingredient lists, preparation guidance, article structures, or page organization when corrections or improvements are needed. A recipe that you printed or saved at an earlier date may differ from the current web version. This can happen when ambiguous wording is clarified or a practical suggestion is revised.
The site may remove content, correct mistakes, or update links without sending individual notices. Where a correction concerns food safety or an important ingredient detail, visitors should use the most current version available and their own safe-food practices. No promise of permanent archiving is made.
No guarantees about results
Information is offered as general home-baking guidance, not an assurance of particular cooking outcomes. Differences in ovens, measuring methods, ingredients, dietary needs, and cooking conditions can change results. You are responsible for assessing the preparation and using common kitchen safety practices.
We do not guarantee that a baked item will look exactly like a photograph, last for a particular number of days, or meet an individual’s dietary requirements. The Disclaimer page offers more detail on measurements, allergens, storage, and the limits of general cooking advice.
Third-party websites and providers
The website can refer to outside services for form submissions, hosting, and photography. These services are not necessarily controlled by the website owner, and we cannot promise their uptime, content accuracy, or ongoing compatibility. Any submission to a third party is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Before relying on an external service, review the terms directly associated with it. We do not accept responsibility for the content of independent websites simply because a hyperlink appears on a policy page or in a footer. Links may be modified when their destination is no longer appropriate.
Availability, security and technical limits
The website is made of static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image files. It is designed to work on modern devices, but browser extensions, old software, accessibility settings, network filters, and internet connectivity can affect the presentation or function of some features.
No online service can guarantee continuous security or absence of interruptions. We may take reasonable steps to improve performance and correct broken links, but readers should not attempt to bypass technical protections. Where the law provides rights that cannot be disclaimed, those rights remain unaffected.
Limitations of liability
To the extent legally permitted, Crumb Cake Kitchen provides content and the website on an as-available basis and does not offer a contractual warranty of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or a specific baking result. Liability, if any, is determined according to applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.
Nothing in these terms purports to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or to remove mandatory consumer and privacy protections. Because the website is a general public recipe publication, it does not undertake bespoke review of the dietary or safety requirements of each visitor.
Law, questions and changes
Legal rights can vary depending on the visitor’s location and the laws that apply to the relevant parties. We do not state a fixed jurisdiction, corporate registration, or physical business location because those details have not been provided and verified for this site. These terms should not be read as inventing one.
We may revise these terms if the website’s functions or applicable requirements change. For questions about permissible reuse of content, use of the website, or this document, contact admin@crumbcakekitchen.com. If a specific permission is necessary, request it before copying protected material.
